Poem of the Day: Bleachers
Bleachers
Are Miracles
of Earth's metal
Perfectly formed
but Easily bent
Miracles
of heat in summer
so cold in winter
A Symbol
of Sportsmanship
of staying out in
Cold and heat
To show support
Bleachers
A place to sit
To be alone after
A defeat
and see the expanse
Make you feel
so small
But can make you feel
So big in a crowd
Feel and see
People breathing
In anticipation
Leaning forward
Jumping to their feet.
