Poem of the day: (Not so) Sweet Dreams
(Not so) Sweet Dreams
Late one dark, dark night,
I went to to get some water,
But as I was walking through the hall,
My footsteps began to falter,
I had heard a creak,
The creak of the basement door,
Did I dare to go down there,
Where all my junk I'd poured,
Then I heard a whistle,
Then a ghostly wail,
And then a strange sound,
Of a hammer and a nail,
My courage began to fail me,
My knee's began to shake,
My whole body started to quiver,
The house began to shake,
The basement door opened,
A monster reared its head,
I tightly shut my eyes,
Then saw I was still in bed!
